Kantharos with a grape bunch to the left
Script: Greek
Comment
Cf. SNG Copenhagen 357-360 (without grapes or with indistinct symbols).
Interesting fact
The obverse (front) side of the coin features a facing head of the Greek goddess Demeter, while the reverse (back) side depicts a grapevine with clusters of grapes. This design is significant because Demeter was the goddess of agriculture and fertility, and the grapevine was an important crop in ancient Greece. The coin's design may have been meant to symbolize the prosperity and fertility of the region.
