Interesting fact
The 1676 Stade 1/48 Thaler coin features an error in its minting process, known as a "clipped planchet." This means that the coin was minted on a planchet that was not properly centered, resulting in a small portion of the coin's edge being cut off. This error can be seen on the coin's obverse (front) side, where a small part of the rim is missing. Despite this error, the coin is still considered a rare and valuable collector's item among numismatists.
