Interesting fact

The Anaphe coin is one of the earliest known coins to feature a portrait of a deity. The obverse side of the coin depicts a bearded god, believed to be Poseidon, while the reverse side features a dolphin, which was a symbol of the island of Anaphe. This coin is a rare example of a coin that combines both a deity and an animal symbol, making it a unique and interesting piece of ancient Greek numismatics.
