Interesting fact
The 1/24 Thaler coin from the Duchy of Pomerania-Stettin, minted during the reign of Philip II (1612-1618), features an interesting design element - a stylized image of a griffin, a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head and wings of an eagle. This symbol was used to represent the coat of arms of the Pomeranian duchy and can be seen on the reverse side of the coin.
