Comment
An exemple where is clearly visible the 1 skilling coins of 1771Interesting fact
The 12 Skilling coin from Denmark, issued during the reign of King Frederik VI in 1812, features an interesting design element. On the obverse side of the coin, the king's portrait is surrounded by a wreath made of thistle branches, which is a symbol of Scotland. This is because King Frederik VI was also the King of Norway and Scotland, and the inclusion of the thistle branches on the coin was a nod to his Scottish heritage.
