Comment
The coin motif, designed by artist Detlef Behr from Cologne, excellently takes up the iconic roof architecture of the Berlin Olympic Stadium. The final of the 2024 UEFA European Football Championship will take place there. In the center of a stylized playing field, including the corner flags, is the football, with and around which everything revolves, in an almost plastic, tangible form. The coloring of the coin references the German national colors. The numbers 1 and 0 represent both a possible match result and the ten venues for the European Championship. The value side was designed by Lorenz Crössmann from Berlin and harmonizes very well with the motif side with the dignified federal eagle.

One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique design that commemorates the UEFA Euro 2024 football tournament, which was held in Germany. The coin's obverse side features the tournament's official logo, while the reverse side features a stylized image of a football player in action, surrounded by the tournament's slogan "Unity in Diversity."
