Interesting fact

The Pattern 100 Zlotys coin was designed by Polish artist and engraver, Józef Aumiller, and features a right-facing portrait of King Mieszko I, the first ruler of Poland, surrounded by an ornate border and the denomination "100 Złotych" (100 Polish złotych) in bold letters. The reverse side of the coin depicts a large eagle with outstretched wings, clutching a shield with the Polish coat of arms, and the inscription "Rzeczpospolita Polska" (Polish Republic) above it. The coin was minted in 1960 as a trial strike to commemorate the 1000th anniversary of Poland's statehood, and only 100 pieces were minted, making it a highly sought-after collector's item among numismatists.
