On the reverse side (reverse) of the coin against the background of the planes inclined toward the center of the coin, symbolizing the meeting of the two millennia, the stories from the history of the past and the signs of the future millennium are depicted in relief. On the circumference of the coin there is a prominent wide edge, on which there is an inscription "FАСЫРЛАР БЕЛЕСI" in Kazakh and "РУБЕЖ ТЫСЯЧЕЛЕТИЙ" in Russian, separated by a fragment of the Kazakh national ornament. Inscriptions and ornament on the edge are pressed.
