Interesting fact

The 100 Rupiah coin from Indonesia features the image of Sukarno, the country's first president, on its obverse side. Sukarno played a key role in Indonesia's struggle for independence from the Dutch and is considered a national hero. He served as president from 1945 until his overthrow in 1967. The coin's design was created by the Indonesian sculptor and artist, Edhi Sunarso, and has been used on the 100 Rupiah coin since its introduction in 1973.
