Date of issue: 29 OCT 2004The participants of the 2nd Kamchatka Expedition (1733 – 1743) sailed by «Saint Peter» and «Saint Paul» sailing boats under command of navigators Vitus Bering and A.I. Chirikov reached the shores of the North America, discovered several islands of the Aleutian chine and Commander Islands as well.
