Bi-metallic coins

This commemorative coin has two colors. The outer circle is golden yellow made from a mixture of copper, aluminum and nickel metals or better known as 'nordic gold'. The inside is silver colored made from a mixture of copper and nickel metals. This is the first time that Bank Negara Malaysia has issued a dual-colour commemorative coin. This coin, which has a face value of RM1, is minted in a quantity of 2 million pieces and will be sold at a price of RM5.00 apiece.

Pewter Container Design
