One interesting fact about the coin is that it features a unique design depicting Elton John in his iconic pose, playing the piano, while the background is a pattern of piano keys. This design was created by artist Joanna Drage and was approved by Elton John himself. The coin was issued to celebrate Elton John's farewell tour and a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the coin will go to the Elton John Charitable Trust, which supports a wide range of charitable causes.
