Comment
Issued in 2017 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Gold Britannia series, the Trident privy mark can be found near the rim at about 7 o'clock on the reverse. The 2017 issue of the Gold Britannia introduced a sunburst effect finish to the reverse of the bullion coin. While the standard bullion issue had a textured obverse, this privy mark issue was changed to one with a guilloche.
Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique privy mark, the Trident Privy Mark, which is a small trident symbol etched into the coin's surface. This privy mark is a signature element of the Royal Mint's bullion coins and serves as a symbol of the coin's authenticity and quality.
