Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the coin is that it features a unique design depicting the legendary creature Grendel from the Old English epic poem Beowulf. The coin's reverse side shows Grendel terrorizing a village, while the obverse side bears an effigy of King Charles III. This design was created by renowned artist and sculptor, John Bergdahl.
