Comment

King Philip "the handsome" (1478-1506) was king of Lower Countries, inherited, and King of Castile for his marriage to Queen Joanna (daughter of Spanish Monarchs Ferdinand of Aragon and Isabella of Castile), after the death of Joanna's mother. During a short period reigned Castile together with King Ferdinand and Queen Joanna, but later, Ferdinand left the position and kept Aragon, while Joanna who was recluded at Tordesillas on argued mental illness, so Philip reigned by himself. Died too young on 1506. His first kid, Charles inherited the reigns of his four grandparents, which gave him a huge region and power to reign on as Charles I of Spain.
