The Barcelona Olympic Stadium (formerly known as Olympic Stadium Lluís Companys) was inaugurated on May 20th., 1929; on 1985-1989, it was nearly completely rebuilt for the Olympics games 1992, and renamed on its current denomination. With capacity for nearly 56,000 spectators, has facilities for several different athletics sports, as well as football, being used for many important matches, and also on concerts and other meetings.
