Interesting fact

The 100 Mils coin from Cyprus was designed by the artist Stella Stylianou, who was a prominent Cypriot sculptor and artist. The coin features an image of a mouflon, a type of wild sheep that is native to Cyprus, on one side, and the coat of arms of Cyprus on the other. The use of the mouflon on the coin was meant to symbolize the island's rich natural heritage and its commitment to preserving its unique wildlife.
