Bul-Bul or, in his real name, Mourtouza Rza oglu Mammadov (born in Khanbagi (Shusha) on June 22, 1897, died in Baku on September 26, 1961) was an Azerbaijani folk singer and opera singer (tenor). He was one of the founders of the Azerbaijani national musical theater, as well as a teacher and People's Artist of the USSR (1938).
