Note: Novo kwanza, ISO 4217 code AON, 1990–1995 and Kwanza reajustado, ISO 4217 code AOR, 1995–1999In 1990, the novo kwanza was introduced & it replaced the kwanza at par. This kwanza suffered from inflation and it was replaced in 1995 by kwanza reajustado (at a rate of 1,000 to 1) and since, the inflation continued; this currency was also replaced in 1999 by Second kwanza, ISO 4217 code AOA (at a rate of 1,000,000 to 1)
Both these currencies had only Bank notes issues and no coins were issued.
