Interesting fact
The obverse of the coin features a portrait of Federico Fellini, an Italian film director and screenwriter, who is widely considered one of the greatest filmmakers of all time. The reverse of the coin depicts a scene from his 1963 film "8 1/2," in which the main character, Guido Anselmi, played by Marcello Mastroianni, is shown floating in a dream-like state surrounded by various objects and characters from the film. This coin was issued in 1995 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Fellini's death.
