Interesting fact

The 100 Francs coin was designed by the French sculptor and engraver, Pierre-Gilles Rénier. He was known for his work on various coins and medals, and his design for the 100 Francs coin features a portrait of the French Republic's symbol, Marianne, on the obverse (front side), and a stylized image of the French national emblem, the Gallic rooster, on the reverse (back side).
