Interesting fact
The 100 Euro Gold of the Scythians coin from Austria features a unique design that showcases the art and culture of the ancient Scythians, a nomadic people who lived in the steppes of Eurasia from the 9th century BCE to the 3rd century CE. The coin's obverse features a stylized image of a Scythian warrior on horseback, while the reverse depicts a Scythian archer with a bow and arrow. The coin's design is inspired by the artifacts and art found in Scythian burial mounds, which were discovered in the region now known as Austria. This coin is a beautiful representation of the rich history and cultural heritage of the Scythian civilization.
