The centens are the pinnacle of Spanish numismatics. Spectacular coins of almost 340 grams of gold that were only minted in the Real Ingenio of Segovia on rare occasions in the 17th century. They are beautiful coins with very careful workmanship that exemplify how Segovia had the best minting technology in those years. They are very rare pieces. The existing specimens can be counted on the fingers of the hands. We can all see the only coin dated 1623 in the Mint Museum.
