Yéghiché (Élisée) Tcharents (Armenian Եղիշե Չարենց, Tcharents meaning "of what is evil" in grabar), born Soghomonian on March 13, 1897 in Kars and assassinated on November 27, 1937 in Yerevan, was an Armenian poet.
