The 10 Zlotys coin commemorating the Third Silesian Uprising in 1971 was designed by Polish artist and sculptor, Andrzej Renes. The coin's design features an image of a Silesian insurgent holding a rifle and a banner with the coat of arms of Silesia, surrounded by a wreath of laurel leaves. The coin's obverse side features the Polish coat of arms and the inscription "Rzeczpospolita Polska" (Polish Republic).
