Interesting fact
The Soong Ching-ling 10 Yuan coin was designed by the famous Chinese artist, Xu Yong, who is known for his work in coin design and calligraphy. The coin's design features a portrait of Soong Ching-ling, a prominent Chinese politician and wife of Sun Yat-sen, on the obverse, and the National Emblem of the People's Republic of China on the reverse. The coin was minted in 1993 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Soong Ching-ling's birth.
