The 10 Stotinki - Aleksandr I 1881 coin from Bulgaria was designed by the famous Bulgarian artist, Ivan Mrkvička. Mrkvička was a renowned sculptor and engraver who also designed several other coins and banknotes for Bulgaria during that time period. His design for the 10 Stotinki coin features a portrait of Alexander I, the first prince of Bulgaria, on the obverse side, and the Bulgarian coat of arms on the reverse side.
