Sergei Vasilievich Rachmaninov (1873-1943) is a great Russian composer, who also became famous as a virtuoso pianist and conductor. In his work, Rachmaninoff synthesized two Russian composer schools - Moscow and St. Petersburg - and created a unique style that became the pearl of classical music and subsequently influenced both Russian and world music of the 20th century.In Pridnestrovie, the children's art school, which began its activities in 1970, bears the name of Sergei Vasilievich Rachmaninov.
