Date of issue: 29 JUL 1992The Red-Breasted Goose (Rufibrenta ruficollis) – a bird of duck species. The length of its body is some 55 cm, length of the wing – 39 cm., weight around 1 kg. It nests on parcels of tundra and forest-tundra on Taymyr, Yamal and Gydan Peninsulas and migrate for wintering to areas near Caucasus and Black Sea.
