Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it was minted to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Nāṣer al-Dīn Qājār's reign, who was the Shah of Iran from 1848 until his death in 1896. The coin's design features an image of the Shah on one side and an image of the Iranian coat of arms on the other. The use of silver in the coin's minting was also a nod to the Shah's efforts to modernize and westernize Iran during his reign.
