Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 10 Pound - Elizabeth II (Year of the Sheep; Fine Gold) 2015 coin from the United Kingdom is that it has a unique design feature. The coin's reverse side features a sheep standing on a hillside, surrounded by a stylized landscape. If you look closely, you'll notice that the sheep's wool is depicted in a pattern of concentric circles, which gives the impression of a traditional Chinese motif. This design element was incorporated to commemorate the Year of the Sheep in the Chinese lunar calendar, which fell in 2015. This coin is a beautiful example of how cultural exchange and symbolism can be incorporated into numismatic design.
