Interesting fact
The 10 Pfennigs coin from Pforzheim (Kollmar and Jourdan A.G.) 1916 is interesting because it was produced during a time of economic turmoil in Germany, known as the "Inflationary Period" (1914-1923), when the value of the German mark dropped significantly due to excessive printing of money. As a result, many businesses and cities, like Pforzheim, started issuing their own emergency currency, like this 10 Pfennigs coin, to address the shortage of small change. This coin, made of zinc and weighing 2.6 grams, was one of the many emergency coins issued during that time, and it remains a unique and interesting collector's item today.
