Interesting fact
The 10 Pfennigs coin was part of the German Empire's coinage system during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The coin was minted in several cities, including Berlin, and features the image of a crowned eagle on the obverse side, while the reverse side bears the denomination and the mint mark. The use of zinc in the coin's composition was a common practice during this period, as it was a relatively inexpensive and durable material. However, the zinc content in the coin caused some controversy, as it was believed to be harmful to people's health. As a result, the coin was eventually replaced with a new design made of a different material.
