The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus or Tomb of Mausolus was placed at Halicarnassus city, Persia, actual Turkey. 45m. high, was built as tomb for Mausolus and his sister-wife Artemisia II of Caria. It was the last survivor of the six destroyed World Wonders. Was destroyed by successive earthquakes from 12th. to 15th. century.
