Reeded. 1990-2006 coins have 23.5 grooves/cm reeding edge. From 2004-2017 the coins have 27 grooves/cm reeding edge. There is an exception in a variety of 2010 that has 23.5 grooves/cm. 2007 coins (minted in Canada) have other patterns (25 grooves/cm).

Die 1 - wide epaulette, signature FR. Thenot under the sash of the Legion of Merit of Chile, left medal (for observer to the right) on a ring, wide rim.
Die 2 - wide epaulette, signature under the sash, left medal on a ring. Note. Part of mintage was struck with grounded die.
Die 3 - wide epaulette, signature under the sash, medals almost incused, left medal with additional ray at bottom.
Die 4 - wide epaulette with circle, signature under the sash, left medal on a bow, tall script to LIBERTADOR B.O'HIGGINS.
Die 5 - small portrait, narrow epaulette and the sash, medals stylized, no signature under the sash.
