Comment

The 1998 & 1999 issues were not struck for circulation and can only be found in the annual Brilliant Uncirculated and Proof sets.

According to https://www.checkyourchange.co.uk/10p-coins-in-circulation/ there are two circulation reverse die varieties for 2005 dated coins: one with the 1 in the 10 aligned with a dot, and the other with the 1 aligned between two dots.

Interesting fact

The 10 Pence coin featuring Elizabeth II's 4th portrait with a crowned lion was the first coin to be redesigned with a new obverse (heads) side, since the coin was introduced in 1969. The redesign was done to update the coin's look and make it more easily distinguishable from other coins in circulation.
