Interesting fact
The Mute Swan featured on the coin is actually a colourised version of a photograph taken by the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla Parker Bowles. The photograph was taken at the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust in Slimbridge, Gloucestershire, and was chosen as the winning design for the coin's reverse side. This unique design element adds an extra layer of interest and beauty to the coin, making it a standout among other coins in the series.
