The 10 Paise coin from India, issued in 1978 to commemorate the Food and Shelter theme by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), has an unique feature. The coin's designer, M.R. Anantharaman, incorporated the theme of food and shelter into the design by featuring a stylized representation of a farmer and a farm building on one side, and the national emblem of India on the other.
