Comment

In the middle of 1976 the final accent over the Urdu script at the top right of the obverse was changed from zabar (a straight slash) to pesh (thicker on one end) on Silver and Gold coins. Therefore Hakumat became Hukumat from 1977 all circulation coins.

Interesting fact

The 10 Paisa coin from Pakistan, issued between 1974 and 1981, features an image of a wheat stalk on its reverse side. This design was chosen to commemorate the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, which aims to promote agriculture and food security around the world. The coin's design serves as a reminder of the importance of agriculture and the efforts being made to ensure food security, not just in Pakistan but globally.
