Abraham was sitting by his tent in the desert heat and Sarah his wife, in her admirable modest manner, was inside the tent, when three men appeared. Immediately, Abraham ran to offer warm hospitality to the wayfarers, not knowing that they were angels disguised as men, who had come with a mission. They had come to announce that Sarah was to give birth to a son, through whom Abraham would become the father of a great nation . For Sarah aged 89 and Abraham, 99, this news was unbelievable.
