Ferdinand I (Ferdinand Viktor Albert Meinrad; 24 August 1865 – 20 July 1927) was King of Romania from 10 October 1914 until his death in 1927.

Interesting fact

The obverse of the coin features an image of King Ferdinand I, the first king of Romania, who ruled from 1881 until his death in 1927. The coin was issued in 2015 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of his death.
