As for the horseshoes at the bottom of the obverse, the mint master position in Augsburg was kept in the Holeisen (or Hohleisen) family for a long time; the mint or privy marked they used was two horseshoes, except between 1761-66 when one horseshoe was used, which therefore identifies Franz Hohleisen as mint master.Interesting fact
