The coin is dedicated to the princess Olha (about 910-969) - the governor of the Kyiv state in 945-964. She carried out the state reform and organized strong points of Kyiv central power and legal procedure throughout the country which contributed to the formation of the Old-Rus state. In foreign policy Olha continued the course initiated by Ascold. She was baptized in Constantinople in 955. She used to invite European priests to Kyiv to spread Christianity.
