The coin is dedicated to an architectural monument of 16th-18th centuries - the palace ensemble with light galleries, marble fountains and splendid rooms which was the seat of Crimean and Tartar Khans (now it is the historical and architectural museum in the town of Bakhchysarai).

Interesting fact

The Khan Palace in Bakhchysarai, which is featured on the coin, is a historic palace that was built in the 16th century by the Crimean Khanate. It's considered one of the most important examples of Crimean Tatar architecture and has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
