The commemorative coin is dedicated to the glassblowing, i.e. glass production known as early as in the Kyiv Rus epoch. After many centuries of development the glassblowing has reached a high artistic level. Especially ingenuous were flasks, very small casks, large bottles, quart bottles and differently shaped vessels in the form of cockerels, birds, teddy-bears, etc. The silver coin has been produced with application of greening (patina making) technology.Interesting fact
