Unabridged legend: Transylvaniam Locumtenensis, cis Transylvaniam partiumque ei subiectarum exercitus generalis Capitaneus; Anno Domini 1600 vigilantia, virtute et armis nactus.

Translation: Lieutenant in Transylvania, general commander of the army this side of Transilvania and of its subjected parts. In AD 1600 won the victorz through virtue, vigilance and arms.

Comment

A single known piece exists in the National Musum of Budapest. These pieces were issued at the beginning of 1600 for the payment of the mercenary troops used by Michael II in his campaign in Moldova.
In the 19th century, Appel & Lang and Carl Wilhelm Becker struck a series of fakes in gold and silver.
