First piece in pure nickel struck for the Grand Duchy. Issue ordered by the Grand-Ducal Regulation of 12 June 1971, coin manufactured at the Brussels Mint. The tolerance of the weight being both outside and within 20 thousandths.The reference L#307-9 corresponds to the , polished flan, struck in 1980.
