Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 10 Florins - István Bocskai 1605 coin from Principality of Transylvania (Hungarian States) is that it features a unique blend of Christian and Islamic motifs on its design. The coin's obverse side bears an image of Saint István, the first king of Hungary, while the reverse side features a depiction of the Islamic crescent moon and star, which was a common motif in Ottoman coinage at the time. This blending of religious symbols reflects the complex cultural and political landscape of the Principality of Transylvania during the 17th century, when it was a vassal state of the Ottoman Empire.
