Interesting fact
The Ishtar Gate, which is featured on the obverse of the coin, was one of the eight gates of the ancient city of Babylon, built in the 6th century BC. The gate was dedicated to the goddess Ishtar and was decorated with images of lions, bulls, and dragons. The gate was rediscovered in the early 20th century and has been partially reconstructed and is now on display at the Pergamon Museum in Berlin, Germany.
