Interesting fact

The 2003 Special Olympics 10 Euro coin from Ireland was designed by Irish artist, Michael Guilfoyle. The coin's design features a stylized image of an athlete in motion, with the Special Olympics logo and the words "Special Olympics" written in both English and Irish (Gaeilge) on the obverse. The reverse side of the coin features the Irish harp, a traditional symbol of Ireland, along with the coin's denomination and year of issue. The coin was minted to commemorate the 2003 Special Olympics World Summer Games, which were held in Dublin, Ireland that year.
